Pressure Pot
Hydraulic Water Press

Bosworth’s Pressure Pot is a hydraulic water press used in creating bubble-free relines, repairs, splints, temporaries, and orthodontic appliances. The Pressure Pot is lightweight, easily transportable, does not require electricity, heat, or air pressure, and virtually guarantees a dense, super-smooth, pore-free surface on any self-curing acrylic with just 20psi. Creating a temporary with Pressure Pot increases strength by reducing voids and porosity.

Total Weight of unit: 4lbs. 14oz.
Inner Diameter: 3.75in.
Outer Diameter: 4.5in.
Inner Height: 3in.
Overall Height: 7in.

Technical Tips:
If Pressure Pot will not hold pressure, try the following:

1)
Check "O" ring on bottom of the release button found on the underside of the pot top to make sure it is seated firmly.
2)
Check "O" ring gasket on inside rim to make sure it is seated firmly. Lubricate with vaseline.

To prevent damage to Pressure Pot, do not exceed 30lbs. of pressure.

Pressure Pot Technique:

1)
Upon initial polymerization, place acrylic into the pot.
2)
Using room temperature water, fill pot to overflowing. Place lid on the pot.
3)
Slide pot into self-aligning position under screw handle.

4)
Turn the screw handle clockwise until pressure gauge reads 30 p.s.i.
5)
The acrylic should remain in the pot for a minimum of 5 minutes.
6)
Turn the screw handle counter clockwise to release. Remove the pot from the press.

7)
Release the pressure by pressing or tapping the rellief valve.
8)
Gauge should now read 0 p.s.i.
9)
Remove the acrylic from the pot and finish accordingly.

Caution:

* Check O ring on release button.
* Check O ring gasket inside rim of pot.
* Lubricate O ringe with vaseline.
* If using the relief value, stand clear, H2O will spray.
** DO NOT EXCEED 30 Lbs. PRESSURE.
